USPTO Issues Clarification On New BPAI Rules
  The USPTO has issued a clarification on a final rule that amends the rules governing practice before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI), which is to take effect on December 10th, 2008. The clarification notice can be found here.
USPTO Partners with KIPO for Priority Document Exchange
  Effective October 14th, 2008, the US and Korean Intellectual Property offices will be able to electronically retrieve priority documents from each office through the Priority Document Exchange (PDX) system. The press release is available here.
WIPO Expands Distance Learning Program
  WIPO's distance learning program now has five new courses covering Arbitration and Mediation Procedure, Patents, Patent Information Search, Basics of Patent Drafting, and Trademarks. The courses are availble in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish here.
